Hey,all. Long time lurker, first time poster.

Just wanted to add myself to the list. Replaced my transmission with a reman about 2 weeks ago. Original stock one started rev/clunking at 90k or so. Made it to about 110k before getting to the point of being undriveable. Now, back up and running. Hopefully I can get another few years out of her. :)

 I know exactly what you mean man this is kind of bull💩 I love my Imp SS but it’s like people are just completely done with them.My guess is there’s just not enough aftermarket love for our cars/motors IDK 😞

Anyone have the external measurements as it is in the car? From the pulley side (passenger) *furthest pulley out* to the driver side?? And then the height??

I haven't done it myself.  I can't imaging it being too much different than other LS motors.  Anything particular you are wondering about?

Need advice on removing back head to replace lifters. Motor still in car. It’s a 2006 GXP with 82000 mi.

It’s not where the sensor screws in. It’s leaking from under the plate that the sensor screws into. I have pics just don’t know how to post them here

A picture would really help.  Is there a chance that it is leaking from the oil pressure sensor in the valley cover and not the valley cover itself leaking?

It’s litterally pouring oil out the front right side and lifters going crazy. No oil pressure alarms but puddling on top the trans and I mean a lot. I put quart in to get level right and it blew it all out that side in minutes. I’m wondering how the pressure sensor isn’t going off. Or maybe that’s set not to go off by the shop that charged me 2 grand for oil pump that took 30 minutes to replace.

I’m confused and don’t want to waste money. I have the “intake manifold set” in stock in my parts closet. It claimed it was everything needed to repair did solenoids including valley cover gasket. Part is felpro ms96871. But looking at other manifold gasket sets it does not have 8 rectangular gaskets. It has the valley gasket and all the inner gaskets and 9 o-ring style gaskets. Is that everything or do I need to buy the rectangular set too?  Someone help me out. I know this forum can’t be as dead as it’s looking. Or maybe everyone’s ls4s blew up n they moved on.
